Thunderstorms were coming and going all day. I managed to get home with a three hour window of opportunity to ride in relatively dry weather with only a few sprinkles.
The ride today felt like I was transported back several months when the idea of 10,000 miles not even a twinkle in my eye. I felt more relaxed and thinking of "only" riding 15 miles sat with me just fine.
I rode in my neighborhood, enjoying the back and forth of the familiar roads. I especially enjoyed circling back and seeing the scarf-like paper trapped on the tree branch dancing in the wind.
It reminded me of the dancer Isadora Duncan and the long scarves she wore.
