Getting close.  Less than 50 miles to 10,000.  Yesterday, I contemplated trying to get in 50 miles today but needing to be close to home for a delivery, which could come anywhere between 2:00 - 7:00, kept me tethered to the neighborhood.

The excitement of the closure builds, yet, I still fight an overwhelming weariness.  My body is exhausted and longs for the first.

I did enjoy my morning walk and capturing it in black and white.

There is a festive eeriness to this one.

The dancing scarf, now well entangled in the branches.

I can't remember if I mentioned the missing chairs or not.  Way back in the very first part of the year, someone had dumped four steel bar stools and this wooden chair.  There were all in a jumble and I set them up in a semi-circle looking out into the woods (picture of such somewhere back in the postings).  I took an occasional photo as winter moved into spring and then summer.  I expected that the chairs were something I would see slowly become overgrown with vegetation.  Imagine my surprise when I found someone had un-dumped the chairs.  How dare they!

If looked at the right way, I like how reflections can seem as if they are liquid images, not just water reflecting but the actual object we see in liquid form .
