A very busy day full of errands so just time to get in a short ride today. I stayed in the neighborhood, taking in a fairly casual ride.
It's hard to believe that there only 12 days left until the end of the year, 12 days until the end of the journey. It will be hard not to get back on the bike come January 1, but the discipline of the journey insists on just that.
People have asked me what biking challenge or adventure I have planned for next year. At some point, in another year besides 2012, I would like to take on a cross-country trip or some other long ride ride. But, the beauty of this past journey is that it has led me to other paths, such as the photography and becoming more skilled, refining that craft and having a display of my work is an adventure I would like see happen.
I enjoyed following the shoes evolution off the bike trail back in the summer. It has been fun watching this piece of material as it tangles and untangles itself.
