Another short ride today. Though, the sky was filled with wonder.
Made it out about 1:00, riding under a blue bowl with strata clouds lining the horizon from the southwest to the southeast, while, on the other side of the dome, puffy cumulus strata clouds pounced in the north and west.
I pass the cemetery down on Habberton often. Today, perhaps the way the sun was hitting the gravestone, I circled around for a better look and a picture. The name of the hill that we live on is called Slaughter Mountain, though, these days, I think one would be hard pressed to find someone in Fayetteville who would recognize that name.
The wide open sky reminded me of the Plains today.
When I first spotted this cloud formation, it looked like a puma getting ready to strike. By the time I got the camera out, it lost some of its feline features in the face, though, it you look hard enough...
Today's ride: 66mins. 12.15 miles. 57° Miles YTD: 10,072.50
